EliteSkin’s Age Defying System Honored in Plastic Surgery Magazine

December 20th, 2010

Anti Aging

It’s hard enough to find rejuvenating creams on your own, let alone sifting through all of the anti aging cream review websites that are out there on the web.

If you are in the market for an anti aging rejuvenation system that has been viewed by real skin care experts, and I’m talking about Plastic Surgeons, then you may want to give a good look at the acclaimed Age Defying System by EliteSkin.

In a recent Plastic Surgery Magazine publication, the Age Defying System is mentioned in the product news section.  Here is an excerpt from the Magazine:

“The Age Defying System by Elite Skin Inc, Miami Beach, Fla, comprises new antiaging products. The Wrinkle Eraser cream works to reduce wrinkle depth with a formula that includes Matrixyl 3000 (Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7), Argireline (acetyl hexapeptide-3), and Leuphasyl. The system then works to cure neck wrinkles and sagging skin that develop on the neck and jawline by introducing the V-Covery Cream, an antiaging breakthrough that is applied to the upper chest and neck area. The powerful formula features Haloxyl, Eyeliss, Argireline, and Gaba, and also has a small concentration of resveratrol.”

So, I reached out to the company that manufactures this breakthrough anti aging system, and spoke in depth with the Marketing Director, Tim Schmidt.  Here is a brief question and answer session we had over the phone.

There are so many anti aging creams on the market today, what makes the Age Defying System different from the rest of the products out there?

Tim:  Our products are formulated based on research.  There is a certain science to how different ingredients work together.  Our head formulator’s job is to find the synergistic effects of combining various ingredients. Skin care is much more than aloe vera and shea butter these days.

That’s very interesting – so you go out and do studies on each ingredient?

Tim:  We use cosmeceuticals in our anti aging products.  Many of them are imported from laboratories as far away as France and Switzerland.  The ingredients we use are subject to clinical testing in most cases.  We take a long, hard look at these clinical tests and find the best ingredients to treat our customers various skin conditions.  Before a single product is made, there are extensive tests on these ingredients used in many different concentration levels.  You can’t just mesh them together and expect them to work – a good amount of troubleshooting goes into getting each product mix ready to even TRY to make a cream that’s ready for an end-user.

Wow, it sounds like a lot of work goes into each product.  Can you give us an example of these ingredients?

Tim:  We take pride in our research and development – we know we won’t have a chance to compete with the larger manufacturers out there unless our products work at impressive levels.  To give you an example, the Age Defying System is a popular product in our EliteSkin brand.  It’s products are heavily based on scientific findings.  The anti wrinkle cream component of this system is called the Wrinkle Eraser.  It features two ingredients made by a laboratory called Centerchem.  The ingredients are Argireline and Leuphasyl, and like most our ingredients they are clinically tested.  While they are both great anti aging ingredients on their own, they work better when they are blended together.  For example, the potent combination of Argireline® and Leuphasyl® reduced expression wrinkles by up to 46% in a 28 day clinical trial.

So why doesn’t every company copy your formula?

Tim: Every product in the EliteSkin brand has it’s own proprietary formula that took a long time to perfect.  Since our ingredients are listed on every product, it’s easy for competitors to copy them and use them in their own products.  In fact, many other companies are now using resveratrol in their skin care products. It’s flattering to be considered a pioneer on some sort of level, but you can’t use our ingredients and have a product that rivals ours – the whole game is in getting the right concentration level, and that takes time.  Our exact formula mixes are under lock and key.

It has to feel good seeing your products featured in Plastic Surgery Magazine’s….

Tim:  It’s exciting when we receive calls from Plastic Surgeon’s and Dermatologists that have a genuine interest in our product or just ask questions and share notes.  I mean, these people do all the heavy lifting, and take their work very seriously.  To have the respect of someone experienced in cosmetic surgeries is very humbling.  We take their advice and opinions whole-heartedly, and this recent recognition in Plastic Surgery Practice has resulted in many phone calls. While our head formulator does all the dirty work in the lab, we continue to consult other experts prior to launching new products.

Where do you see your company in five years?

Tim:  We’d like to be known as a leader in the industry, and have our name held in the same regard as Dr. Brandt, another Miami area skin care company.

Thanks for your time today, Tim.  Continued success in the skin care industry.

Tim:  Any time.  It’s my pleasure.

Clean Environment; High Allergy Rate

July 9th, 2010

Allergies can be a benchmark for the progress of a country. The better environmental sanitation and hygiene a people so there was hardly any infection, the higher the incidence of allergies such as asthma.

Allergy is an immune system response to excess of a normally harmless substance, such as food or dust. “Allergic disease is closely related to the immune system of children,” said Professor Sibylle Koletzko, child health experts from Germany.

He added that in recent decades an increase in allergy cases, along with a decrease in the number of infectious diseases, like tuberculosis or measles. The risk of allergies in children exposed to urban or rural areas alike.
There’s an interesting theory about the increasing cases of allergy, namely in countries where high infection rates, lower incidence of allergy. Not rare in developed countries that completely clean and sterile, very high incidence of allergy.

“Children who have a worm infection, is rarely affected by allergies,” he said. According Koletzko exposure, infection makes the body’s immune system is busy to develop allergies.

In simple terms can be explained that appear least associated with allergic T cells, namely a kind of cell that plays a role in the immune response, particularly in identifying a foreign object enters the body and may cause illness.

There are two T cell, called T helper 1 cells (TH 1) and T helper 2 cells (TH 2). Tues TH 1 increase when an infection, while TH 2 when someone allergic. In healthy conditions, the TH 1 and TH 2 in the body are in balance state.

The more often a person exposed to infection, the TH1 cells are working and TH 2 cells will be suppressed so that the allergy will not appear. This is what explains why in a clean environment, the allergy cases is low.

That’s why it is necessary preventive measures to prevent allergies, for example by maintaining a balance condition of the body to the T cells.
